Cheri Clampett is a nationally respected yoga teacher known and loved for her compassionate and sensitive approach. While vinyasa flow in the tradition of the White Lotus provides the foundation of her teaching, Cheri specializes in Therapeutic Yoga—an effective blend of Restorative Yoga, hands-on healing methods, and focused breath work. Her eclectic teaching style brings in the playfulness and depth of many forms, including: Double Yoga, Yogassage, dynamic Yoga Flow, and her detailed knowledge of therapeutic work. Her strong guidance, gentle adjustments and nurturing presence allow students to awaken the spirit of Yoga and embrace their practice.
Cheri has taught at the Southwest Yoga Conference, the Integral Yoga Institute, the Himalayan Institute, the Intergrative Yoga Teacher Training, Beth Israel Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and the Rusk Institute at NYU Medical Center. To bring the healing benefits of Yoga into hospitals, Cheri created and leads the innovative Therapeutic Yoga Training, an accredited course designed for certified Yoga teachers, nurses, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals.
